Summary (From Barnes and Noble): Dreams come true in this hilarious, feel-good fairy tale about life, love, and dating literature’s most eligible bachelor!

After a string of disastrous dates, Emily Albright decides she’s had it with modern-day love and would much rather curl up with Pride and Prejudice and spend her time with Mr. Darcy, the dashing, honorable, and passionate hero of Jane Austen’s classic. So when her best friend suggests a wild week of margaritas and men in Mexico with the girls, Emily abruptly flees to England on a guided tour of Jane Austen country instead. Far from inspiring romance, the company aboard the bus consists of a gaggle of little old ladies and one single man, Spike Hargreaves, a foul-tempered journalist writing an article on why the fictional Mr. Darcy has earned the title of Man Most Women Would Love to Date.

The last thing Emily expects to find on her excursion is a broodingly handsome man striding across a field, his damp shirt clinging to his chest. But that’s exactly what happens when she comes face-to-face with none other than Mr. Darcy himself. Suddenly, every woman’s fantasy becomes one woman’s reality. . . .

My thoughts, cut for spoilers!

All glammed up for a night on the red carpet, the stars of "Sex and the City" were among the stars at Paris Las Vegas in Las Vegas, Nevada on Thursday night (March 18).

With Sarah Jessica Parker, Cynthia Nixon and Kristin Davis all joined together, the trio of ladies smiled as they snatched up the Best Ensemble Award at the official convention of the National Association of Theatre Owners.

Meanwhile, the gals are all getting ready for the May 27 release of their hit movie's sequel - which is directed by Michael Patrick King.

Of the amazing popularity that "Sex and the City" has garnered, Miss Nixon recently told Variety that "people have just grown very fond of the characters, the wit of the writing and the glamour and the fashion and all that."

She adds, "One of the things that has kept it so strong is that (writer-director) Michael Patrick King doesn't try to take us through the same thing because it worked so well the last time. If we stayed the same, going out and drinking and having sex, we would turn into 'Absolutely Fabulous,' which is not what we are. He has allowed us to age, and the audience has allowed us to come along for the ride."

There was a post about her and her tattoo's HERE but nothing about her custody battle w/her ex.

Michelle “Bombshell” McGee says she carried on an 11-month affair with Jesse James, who apologized to Bullock Thursday. In court papers connected to her divorce from and custody battle with Ronald Shane Modica, Michelle is portrayed as being bi-polar and using drugs.

Chicago-Sun Times

Even in Hollywood -- a town known for rampant infidelity, sleazy affairs, marital woes and serial romances -- the mood Thursday was widespread shock
as new details arose about Sandra Bullock's husband Jesse James and his alleged cheating with fetish model and ex-stripper Michelle ''Bombshell'' McGee.

• Among Bullock's many friends in the acting community is comedy legend Betty White, who reportedly has told friends she's so upset about Bullock's painful humiliation, the former ''Golden Girl'' cannot talk about James without using language so blue, it clearly is not printable in a family newspaper.

Here's what's new:

• Bullock is said to be ''a total mess'' about McGee's claim that she and James had an 11-month affair as Bullock filmed her Oscar-winning role in "The Blind Side."

''She is like a cauldron of both rage and intense pain,'' said one of the actress' closest associates. ''Since this happened while Sandy was off doing the best work of her career ... a project that meant so much to her, because it was all about family values -- it makes this even creepier."

• Given Bullock's attachment to James' daughter Sunny, 5, by his ex-porn star former wife Janine Lindemulder, the actress is said to be very upset about the possibility she would lose contact with the little girl she has been helping her husband raise. James gained sole custody of Sunny from Lindemulder in December. Bullock realizes a divorce from James could jeopardize any relationship with Sunny.

• Bullock moved out of the Long Beach, Calif., home she shared with James on Monday -- after learning In Touch magazine was going to break the story, but before it became public knowledge. ''She knew the paparazzi would be swarming like mad hornets, possibly worse than anything Britney [Spears] or Tiger [Woods] have faced,'' said a longtime friend of the actress.

• Along with canceling her trip to London for this week's British opening of ''The Blind Side,'' Bullock also dropped out of promotions tied to the widely advertised DVD release of her film Tuesday.

• Leigh Ann Tuohy, the woman Bullock portrayed in ''The Blind Side,'' has reached out to the actress and offered strong words of encouragement and support.

CBS’ First round coverage of the NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament had an easy time upsetting the Thursday ratings race. While the return of ABC’s FlashForward fizzled, dropping to just a 1.9 adults 18-49 rating. NBC’s line up of new episodes were all over the map vs. last week, but its nightly 18-49 ratings average was exactly the same.

FlashForward’s new episode return FellFlat (icwydt) on Thursday night, down 10% from the 2.1 adults 18-49 rating it ended its fall run with to just a 1.9 rating.

NBC had the yin and the yang going last night, as Community was up 11% to a 2.1 adults 18-49 rating, while Parks & Recreation was down 5% to a 2.0 rating. The Office fell 5% to a season low 3.6 rating, but 30 Rock was up 3% to a 3.0 rating. Finally, The Marriage Ref was up 8% to a 2.8 adults 18-49 rating.

He’s been a working comic for years, but thanks to “The Hangover,” Zach Galifianakis and his bushy beard are now bona fide movie stars. This year he co-stars with Robert Downey Jr. in “Due Date,” directed by “Hangover” filmmaker and ShoWest honoree Todd Phillips, and “Dinner for Schmucks” for another ShoWest honoree, Jay Roach.

Now that's a bad romance -- Lady Gaga's ex-boyfriend says she's cheated him out of millions of dollars since he dumped her, a sensational new lawsuit charges.

Songwriter and producer Rob Fusari says in a $30 million lawsuit that he helped develop "guidette" Stefani Germanotta into the superstar she is today -- and even came up with her world-famous stage name -- but she is now reneging on a business deal that made him 20 percent owner of her company.

Fusari's lawyer, Robert Meloni, who filed suit yesterday in Manhattan Supreme Court, said: "He discovered her. It was his songs and productions and connections that got her her first deal."

Bryan Singer on 'X-Men: First Class': It's got to be about Magneto and Professor X

Through the years, comic-book films took audiences to all the predictable places, including the grim streets of Gotham City and the doomed spires of planet Krypton, but, a decade ago, a new type of comic-book film had the audacity to set its opening sequence in a truly unexpected place -- the gates of Auschwitz, where Jewish families were bring marched through mud on their way to death and despair.

From those first moments, "X-Men" set itself apart from the entire Hollywood history of comic-book adaptations and marked the beginning of this current era of fanboy cinema, which has dominated the box office and elevated San Diego's Comic-Con International into something resembling a Cannes for capes.

"The opening, it really was a declaration of intent," producer Lauren Shuler Donner said of that sequence, which showed a terrified young boy exhibiting mutant powers as his family was separated by German guards. "It said to the audience this is a serious film, grounded in the realistic and the historic and somewhat dark. It was so smart. And it was all totally Bryan."

That would be Bryan Singer, the director of "X-Men" and its first sequel, who was sitting next to Shuler Donner in her office on a recent afternoon. The pair both had big smiles on their faces -- they had been reunited by an invitation to reminisce about the legacy of the July 2000 release, which they were happy to do, but the conversation kept veering into giddy plans for the future. Singer is returning to the "X-Men" universe, it's clear now, for a project called "X-Men: First Class"; it's all just a matter of timing.

To say that Amanda Blank is a bit of a spitfire would be a terrific understatement. To say that she is a rapping, singing, dancing, laughing, nonstop-talking, one-woman party machine might be more accurate.

A frequent co-conspirator of Santigold, Spank Rock, and M.I.A., the Philly-based musician has come into her own with I Love You (Downtown Records, 2009) —a confectionery offering of club-approved summertime rap jams and seamless, goofball pop music.

"It took me a long time to figure out how to write a song," the 26-year-old Blank says. "I was so used to working with other people, it took a minute to sort out exactly what I wanted to say. Mostly, I wanted to make a record for girls like me . . . or really for girls and gay boys. I never understood those girls who didn't really like other girls. Not me—I've got, like, 50,000 superclose girlfriends. This record is for them."

I was asked by Paloma aka [info]captaindove, to make a GIF featuring every Clois kiss so far. It was fun to make:

So... here's a survey:

Of all the Clois kisses, which is your favorite?

I think for me, it would have to be the kiss from the flashback at the beginning of episode Idol (my avatar). I think it's their best kiss as well, you can tell it wasn't supposed to be an awkward, first kiss, but rather a passionate, post-coitus kiss (they so need more of those in the present, yes?)

Title: The Probable Future

Author: Alice Hoffman

Summary: All the women in the Sparrow family receive a supernatural gift when they turn thirteen. Stella Sparrow wakes up on her thirteenth birthday to discover that she can see how people will die. While sitting in a restaurant, Stella has a vision of the murder of a young woman on the other side of the room and begs her father, Will, to do something, so he goes to police to warn them that his daughter had a psychic vision about a murder. Naturally, he is laughed off. However, when the murder occurs later, Will becomes accused of committing the murder himself.

The summary on the book jacket seemed interesting, but it fools you. The murder mystery takes up very little in the book. Instead, most of the book is about the relationships between the women in the Sparrow family and love entanglements. The book is extremely dull, with cardboard cutout characters, ie, angry teenage girl, and overfilled with flowery, "poetic" descriptions about rain or love that a lot of women would like but often had me rolling my eyes. The plot is absolutely predictable, with everything coming out right in the end like the con man Will suddenly transforming into a good guy overnight. Near the end the author remembers that there is supposed to be a murder mystery in her story, and the real murderer shows up and the most boring murder attempt I've ever read follows. Yawn.

One thing that really bothered me is that the author talks about how Rebecca Sparrow's "gift" was the inability to feel pain. That is not a supernatural power. It is a genetic disease called HSAN. Anyone who had this disease back then would not have made it past early childhood, since people with HSAN can't feel the discomfort associated with getting too hot or too cold, and can't tell when they are sick.

"Glee" may leap off the screen and into theatres. Music Theatre International, which licenses performance rights of Broadway titles from
Legally Blonde
to Fiddler on the Roof, is in talks to bring the hit FOX series to the stage.

MTI chairman Freddie Gershon told Playbill.com that "The 'Glee' deal is in negotiations. We're exploring a collaborative venture with Fox and 'Glee.' We just think it's a natural."

Gershon also revealed that a Junior version of The Little Mermaid was in the works, as well as Avenue G, which he characterized as "the G version of Avenue Q, with no full-frontal puppet nudity."

MTI has had great success licensing Disney's High School Musical and its sequel, as well as the Broadway hit Rent. The company also holds the rights to Wicked, Hairspray and Spring Awakening, which will be available for license in the future.
